How the TechOlympics Showcase works

The Showcase is structured and focused on impact. Here's what it rewards and what winning projects look like. Full details are at techolympics.org/showcase.

The four things judges reward

1. Real-world impact & viability

Projects must solve a real problem for real people, ideally at scale. A "cool idea" isn't enough.

2. Creativity & originality

Judges want something they've never seen, or a familiar idea with a clever twist.

3. Technical difficulty

4. Presentation

A technically strong project can lose with a weak presentation. A moderate project can win with an exceptional one.
